ABOUT SCVMUN

Santa Clara Valley Model United Nations is an MUN conference in the Bay Area hosted by Santa Teresa High School. Every January, over 1,000 delegates from around the world come to engage in rigorous debate and policy making. Established in 1971, making it the second oldest and second largest conference on the west coast, SCVMUN’s goal is to empower students to reach their full potential in speech and debate while educating them about the politics and policy of the world. To further enrich each and every student’s perspective on the world, SCVMUN invites a distinguished speaker each year to communicate to the students the importance of diplomacy and how it affects people’s lives around the world.
